Features
- Preshrunk tight-weave double layer cotton fabric.
- Adjustable nose bridge for snug fit.
- Washable and breathable.
- Elastic over-ear loops for a secure fit.
These are non-medical, non-N95 masks, which are currently reserved for healthcare workers. The CDC recommends wearing a cloth face covering while social distancing and in crowded spaces to shield yourself and others. It's also recommended to wear a double-layer, natural fiber mask as these protect more than a synthetic fiber.
Sizing
- Size small/medium pleated masks are meant to fit youth (6+) and smaller adults.
- Size large pleated masks are meant to fit adult size faces that are medium to large, or are fuller in shape.
- Pleats expand to customize fit. Please check measurements below and side by side fit photos to determine the best size for you.

Wash & Care
Wash regularly to limit the spread of germs, based on frequency of use. Hand wash with liquid soap and hot water, lay flat or hang dry. Do not dry clean.
How To Wear
Fit your mask to your face by molding the bridge to your nose. When wearing do not touch the front, adjust only by touching the ear pieces. While out, make sure your mask fully covers your nose, mouth, and chin. Do not touch your eyes, nose, and mouth while wearing or during removal. Wash hands before and after use.

I’ve purchased face masks 3 times now through coal. I work at a brewery where we are outside patio service only. It’s hot we are sweating, but the coal masks are very breathable. I’m about to place another order!

It's light and I don't feel like I can't breathe. This is the first time in life that I've worn a mask outside of snowboarding or Halloween, so I might not be the authority on what makes a great facemask for everyday use. Honestly though, I can wear this all day, in my fast paced line of work and feel almost as comfortable as though I weren't wearing one. Good value, you can trust Coal facemasks.

All I wanted was a simple black mask with breathable fabric (accompanied with a pleasant feel), simple over-ear elastic bands, with a decent fit. I tried tons of masks, from home made, to construction, hospital, athletic, etc. I couldn't breath through them, they had straps all around the head or ones that didn't stay fixed, looked foolish, and I couldn't talk through them. That last part was crucial, since I'm a Medical Marijuana dispensary manager, and our business has been deemed as essential, so we worked all the way through the first Covid scare, and we are still required by our company to wear masks. We need to be able to wear these for a long time, plus talk and breath through them as we counsel our patients and talk with your co workers. These masks have hit all the marks I've been looking for. They are keeping myself and everyone else safe, fit and feel great, and look good too boot.

Love the quality of these face masks! These masks allow me to maintain my usual style and make me feel stylish. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is for the sizing. I was happy that they fit a little larger, but I have had to fold some of the fabric horizontally as I wear them so that the mask doesn’t ride upward into my eyes. I have heard that there is a new sizing option being offered and I will definitely try it!

I wanted some plain black masks for work since it’s mandatory where I live. The one size fits all coal masks are massive. I’m keeping them because I don’t want to mess with returning them but I wish they weren’t so huge. Hoping they’ll shrink in the dryer.

I've used these for a couple weeks now, most masks are too small for my face, these fit great. Riding a bike they pop up and down easy for when you can't stay 6 ft from people. I am beyond happy with the masks.

I found the mask well made and comfortable to wear, but in my humble opinion there is room for improvement. I would suggest making the nose bridge removable. This would make washing the mask easier. I would also suggest making it longer so that those of us that wear glasses can have a tighter fit to avoid fogging up our glasses. Other than that, great mask.

I got so tired of using my full head bag going into the grocery store. Time to upgrade & I could not be more pleased with this purchase. The metal around the nose really helps form to your face, I was even able to skate at my local park with this on and not once did it feel like it was going to fly off.

Orders placed by 1pm PST will be shipped out the same day.
Orders placed after 1pm PST will be shipped out the next business day.

Delivery

Returns & Warranty
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We are happy to help you return your items purchased on CoalHeadwear.com, if items are in new condition, unworn, with tags, and in original packaging.
We cannot accept returns of any Face Masks, even if they're still in packaging. We also are not offering returns for orders to Canada at this time.

When we credit your account after receiving your return, we will deduct the cost of return shipping (a $3 flat fee) from your return amount. We are happy to process a return or exchange if you’re not satisfied with your product for any reason, as long as the item is unused and undamaged. Within the first 30 days, we will replace your item or refund the product price, whichever you prefer. After 30 days, we may offer to replace or offer a discount or store credit at our discretion.
Exchanges
For an exchange, please complete your return with instructions above, and then purchase your replacement item as a separate order. Unfortunately at this time, we cannot process your exchange as one transaction. Due to stock availability, we recommend placing your replacement order as soon as possible.
